WHAT A GREAT OLD DRIVER!!!!!! I have to admit that 54 and early 55 chev pickups didn't get me very excited.  That has changed!!!!. When we went to look at this truck it was just another lead on another old truck in a storage unit with original miles, two owners, never off the farm, restored truck.  If I had a dollar for every time I heard that you would not be reading this. What we found was an exellent home grown restoration of a super solid truck. A 235 straight 6 under the hood that shows no signs of being molested in any way. 3 spd manual trans that shifts like a new one. and a ton of chrome all over the front (54 grills look cool in chrome).  the odo shows 35k and we were told as usual that it is original miles but no documentation to back it up. The truck has super smooth paint, not show quality but way better than a stock paint job, The interior has been redone and looks great, The bed wood is redone and it looks like they used an oil stain to match what it would look like when it was new ( no clear coat ). It runs and drives like the miles are real but we have no way to prove they are. With stock wheels and brand new 16" wide white wall radials and trim rings this truck is ready to drive every day.  LOOKS GREAT, DRIVES SUPER, READY TO GO !!!!! Quite a great find!
